Now in its 5th edition, the SOHS report assesses the size, shape and performance of the humanitarian system against key criteria. It has become a valuable resource for humanitarian decision-making, and a means by which the humanitarian system can be held accountable to crisis-affected populations. The report is independent and based on evidence from on-the-ground practitioners, crisis-affected populations, host governments, academics, policy-makers and donors.

How is the system performing on health, refugee crises, active conflict, reducing mortality and averting hunger? Does it cause harm? Is it becoming more locally-led? Does it have enough money? Is it resource-efficient?

We wish to invite you to join us as we reflect on the 2022 edition of ALNAP's flagship The State of the Humanitarian System (SOHS) report to look back and reflect on where we have made progress since 2018 and what we have learned.

Jennifer Doherty from ALNAP will be in India to present the findings.
