Approaches to change: evaluation and evidence, standards and certification

Humanitarian reform initiatives have taken different forms over the years.

Some have been driven primarily by evidence and evaluation findings, others have sought to set common sector-wide standards for delivery, and others still have moved towards certification procedures to embed change. Each of these approaches, while far from mutually exclusive, represents a different understanding of how to drive change across the system. This panel will seek to critically assess the successes and challenges to each approach and identify lessons learned for future change initiatives.
