The fourth edition of COOPI Cascina Aperta - held on September 29th at Cascina Boldinasco, long-time headquarters of the NGO - hosted the official presentation of the 2017 Annual Report by General Director Ennio Miccoli in dialogue with Antonella Tagliabue, journalist and Director of Un-Guru.

The Report represents a document for COOPI that is central in terms of accountability towards its stakeholders. In addition to accurately depicting its identity (history, governance, staff, policy, sectors of intervention) and resources (partnership with donors , financial report), it describes the thematic and geographical areas in which COOPI is the most engaged. In that regard, 2017 was a year of excellent results achieved:

  • 238 humanitarian projects carried out - 39 more than 2016;
  • 3 new countries in which COOPI has expanded its presence (Syria, Jordan and Iraq), besides the recovery resumption of activities in Cameroon;
  • almost 2.958 million beneficiaries reached, about 360 thousand more than the previous year;
  • a substantial increase in funds, from 30 million euros in 2016 to over 42 million of the following year.
