Video: The humanitarian system and migration

The European Migration 'Crisis' challenged the traditional model of humanitarian action: the people entering Europe had a broad range of humanitarian needs - from the preservation of life while crossing the Mediterranean to help dealing with bureaucracies when they arrived in Europe. These needs occurred in, or off the shores of, some of the richest countries in the world. How did the humanitarian system respond to this situation? Marta Foresti, Director of the Human Mobility Initiative at ODI, gave us her thoughts.
