James Snowden

James is a Research Consultant at GiveWell (www.givewell.org), an organisation which identifies cost-effective, evidence-backed giving opportunities for donors, and publishes all the rationale online. He previously worked as a researcher at Giving What We Can, and as a consultant for the World Health Organization. James is currently investigating several interventions aimed at influencing public health policy in developing countries. These include preventing suicide through means restriction, tobacco control, and reducing environmental exposure to lead.
